Rossmann Repair Group is a transparency-focused independent lab that, unusually, publishes its pricing tiers. Here is how that compares to our single flat rate.
Rossmann Repair Group is one of the few labs that publishes real pricing — five HDD and five SSD tiers, a free diagnostic, and a firm quote before any paid work. That's genuinely more transparent than most of the industry, and worth respecting.
The trade-off is that it's still tiered and variable: HDD work runs roughly $100–$2,000 and SSD work $200–$2,500 depending on the failure, with donor and target-drive costs added and a 50% deposit on the most complex tiers (head swaps, NAND swaps) since donor parts are consumed.
Rossmann is refreshingly transparent, but you still pay by tier plus parts. ClearQuote is one all-in $1,200 — no tiers, no deposits, no parts line-items — and $0 if we can't recover it.
