Lose your email and you lose your correspondence, contacts, and history. We recover mailboxes and email data from failed drives, deleted accounts, and corrupted Outlook data files, for one flat price.
Where your email lives determines how it can be recovered. Outlook stores mail in data files: PST files for archives and POP accounts, and OST files that cache mail from Exchange, Microsoft 365, or IMAP servers. Apple Mail keeps messages as individual files inside the user's Library folder. Thunderbird stores each folder as an mbox file, or as separate message files in some setups. Webmail and IMAP accounts usually keep the master copy on the server, so a local failure may not lose anything at all.
Local mail files fail in predictable ways. PST and OST files are database-like structures that can be damaged by crashes, forced shutdowns, or failing drives, and very large files tend to be more fragile. Outlook's built-in repair tool can fix minor damage, but it sometimes discards what it can't read. Deleted emails may still sit inside the data file until it is compacted, and deleted data files themselves may be recoverable from the drive if they haven't been overwritten.
An OST file is tied to the mailbox and profile that created it, so Outlook can't simply open it on another computer. When the server copy is gone, though, the OST may be the only remaining record, and its contents can often be extracted and converted into a usable format.
What we recover
✓Outlook PST and OST mailboxes
✓Apple Mail and Exchange data
✓Deleted or lost emails, contacts, and attachments
✓Email from failed, formatted, or dead drives
Common failures we handle
•Outlook won’t open the data file (PST/OST)
•Corrupted or oversized mailbox
•Deleted mailbox or emails
•The drive holding the mailbox failed
Before you send it in: what not to do
✕Don't run Outlook's repair tool repeatedly on your only copy of a damaged PST — work on a copy, because repair can discard items it can't read.
✕Don't delete and re-create your Outlook profile to clear errors — that can remove the OST file, which may hold mail that is no longer on the server.
✕Don't compact the mailbox or empty deleted items after losing email — compacting can permanently remove deleted messages still inside the file.
✕Don't keep using the computer heavily if the mail file itself was deleted — new writes can overwrite it on the drive.
✕Don't wait to contact your email provider if an online mailbox was deleted — many providers keep deleted mailboxes only for a limited time.
How we recover it
1
Recover the drive
If the drive holding your mail has failed, we repair and image it first, so every later step works from a safe copy.
2
Locate the mail stores
We find PST, OST, Apple Mail, and Thunderbird data on the drive, including deleted files and older copies that may hold missing messages.
3
Repair the mail data
Damaged PST and OST files are rebuilt at the structure level, recovering folders, messages, attachments, contacts, and calendars where the data survives.
4
Convert and verify
Recovered mail is checked and delivered in a usable format, such as a PST or standard message files, alongside the original files.
One flat $1,200, quoted before you ship — no per-gigabyte fees and no diagnostic charge. You pay $0 if we can't recover your data.
Can you open an OST file without the original Exchange account?+
Often, yes. Outlook can't open an orphaned OST directly, but its contents can usually be extracted at the file level and converted into a PST or another usable format, provided the file isn't too badly damaged.
Can you recover emails I deleted?+
Sometimes. Deleted messages can remain inside a PST or OST until the file is compacted, and deleted mail files can sometimes be found on the drive. For server-based accounts, your provider's own retention and restore options are often the best first step.
Can you recover mail from Apple Mail or Thunderbird?+
Yes. Both keep mail in folders of standard files on the drive, so recovery is usually a matter of getting the drive readable and then locating the mail folders, attachments included.
Is my data still recoverable?+
In most cases, yes. A device that won't boot or mount usually has a hardware fault while the data itself is intact. The key is to stop using it — don't reformat, rebuild, or keep powering it on — and let our cleanroom handle it.
Do I have to visit a location?+
No. We're mail-in: confirm online, we email a free prepaid label, you ship the device, and we return it with your recovered data. You only pay on success.
How long does it take?+
Most single-device cases finish in about 15–20 business days from arrival, with shipping adding only a day or two on each end.
